Metering and Emptying Station DULCODOS SAFE-IBC F&B

Storage and emptying of IBCs up to 1,000 liters – metering of food base and additives up to 410 l/h

The metering and emptying station DULCODOS SAFE-IBC F&B reliably and continuously supplies your production process with food base and additives. The system design complies with the requirements of regulations EC 1935/2004 and EC 10/2011.

Product description

Reliability at every step – from storage to metering of your food base and additives.

DULCODOS SAFE-IBC F&B is a specially developed metering and emptying station for Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC), enabling nearly complete residual Describes the ability of a substance to have a long-term effect and ... more in the glossary emptying and minimizing product loss. The IBC is placed by the customer on a slightly forward-tilted platform and securely fixed. The special, drive-under retaining tank construction ensures that dripping quantities are reliably collected and do not leak at the installation site.

For applications in the food and beverage industry, the system meets the requirements of EC 1935/2004 and EC 10/2011, ensuring the highest food safety.

The IBC is connected via leak-proof safety couplings and hoses to a side-integrated buffer tank with a volume of approx. 80 liters. This buffer volume ensures uninterrupted dosing into the process – even during IBC changeover. A visual fill level indicator and integrated level measurement with alarm function facilitate planning and increase operational safety.

The station includes an inspection opening for maintenance purposes.

Optionally, a compact metering station in F&B compliance can be integrated after the buffer tank to ensure precise and reliable metering.

Your benefits

  • Unit design compliant with EC 1935/2004 and EC 10/2011
  • Maximum occupational and process safety through uninterrupted dosing
  • Secure placement of IBC on a special, drive-under retaining tank construction. Dripping quantities are reliably collected and do not leak
  • Nearly complete residual emptying of the IBC
  • Buffer tank with approx. 80-liter volume, optionally combined with an integrated metering station in F&B compliance
  • Integrated CIP feed connection, piping, and cleaning spray ball in the buffer tank

Application

    Technical Details

    • Safety drip tray and IBC installation area in PE-HD in accordance with EC 10/2011 with a total volume of 1,300 l
    • All-round, steel-reinforced reinforcements made of PE-HD
    • Intermediate tank made of stainless steel with 80 l volume, design without dead space zones
    • Seals and O-ring seals in accordance with EC 1935/2004
    • IBC coupling, piping, CIP (cleaning in place) compatible diaphragm valves, non-return valve, clamp connections in stainless steel in accordance with EN 1935/2004
    • No hygienic design
    • For indoor installation at temperatures up to 35°C (short-term up to 40°C)
    • External dimensions approx. 1,840 x 1,850 x 2,098 mm (W x D x H)
    • For food bases and additives with a density of up to max. 1.8 kg/dm3
    • Forward sloping installation area of the IBC measuring approx. 1,010 x 1,620 mm (W x D) with grating (polyester resin/GRP) on a special support structure for a maximum load capacity of 2,000 kg, stop bar at the rear of the station and fixing blocks at the front
    • Pallet base of the retaining tank can be driven under with a height of approx. 100 mm
    • Connection of the IBC to the interimediate tank:
    • IBC quick coupling in stainless steel/FKM, drip-free closing on both sides
    • Safe storage of the connection after decoupling from the IBC in a recessed drip tray at the front
    • Hose connection with PE hose in accordance with EN 1935/2004 and EN 12115
    • The interimediate tank serves as a compensation vessel for the volume of the IBC, whereby the principle of communicating tubes technically excludes overfilling
    • Standard equipment of the interimediate tank:
    • Suction side connector to the metering station with non-return valve and diaphragm valve
    • Sight glass for visual level indication
    • DULCOLEVEL radar sensor for contactless level measurement
    • Inspection opening
    • Ventilation connection with dust filter
    • Integrated CIP (cleaning in place) flow connector, piping and cleaning spray ball in the interimediate tank
    • Optionally with an additional cleaning pump for a more efficient CIP (cleaning in place) process
